Change The All-wheel Drive Coupling (haldex) Oil 4 Motion

Hi, the dealership is trying to get me to change the all-wheel drive coupling (Haldex) oil at 80,000 miles, is this really necessary, can you advise please?

New oil and filter is never a bad thing.... if it's not been done then 80k is well overdue.

There actually is no filter (not just vw saying there's none). T6 vans have gen 5 haldex which doesn't have the filter (or my 2015 has anyway)

So just an oil change, or if your keen take the pump off and clean the mesh pickup

I'd defo clean out the pickup mesh. Lots of horror stories and issues with Golf R Haldex over on VWROC with blocked pickups after not many miles...
