Rader Interior Monitoring Control Module 2 (G305)

This issue is linked to the alarm interior movement sensor. I have tested this by locking the car with me inside and moving around. I would expect to set the alarm off but nothing happens. The alarm fails to go off.

Any ideas how to fix this issue.

I thought module 2 was the rear one that you only get in a Caravelle or shuttle ?

Interior monitoring doesn’t activate immediately there’s a delay for the interior to stabilise, you can lock it with a window open

I have a vw transporter shuttle 2017. Where about is the sensor on this model. Do I need to get it replaced and where can i order a new sensor from?

I've tried to reset the error using carista but it keeps coming back.

VW is your best bet. I bought an old one from a breakers yard on eBay which was faulty. They are about £100 new IIRC.

I’ve just left mine not working, it’s actually quite handy as we’ve got a dog and it saves disabling the sensor on the odd occasions if we ever leave her in the back for any reason.
