As above. I've got this from Maypole: MP7423 4A 6/12V Electronic Smart Charger - Maypole, but when the starter battery is dead, it's of no use.
Can anyone recommend a decent AGM charger that will also jump start/charge from flat?

I have been in this situation before and the issue is that the charger must 'see' the battery before it will start charging
Firstly you shouldn't let a battery get that low, discharging it to that extreme causes irreparable damage to the battery but if you do get stuck then in the past i have successfully attached the charger to the battery then attached a small noco jump pack to the battery at the same time to give it a little kick, this allows the charger to initiate then the jump pack can be removed (you can also do it with jump leads from another battery)

Some chargers have the smart start feature....
Or reactivate feature for lifepo4 batteries...
Where they output a low current charge to start a very low battery or BMS shutdown lifepo4 ..... In an attempt to bring them back to life ...

The other way around this is to use a jump pack, booster pack connected to the flat battery....
Then connect the battery charger....
It will detect the booster pack voltage and then start charging at the correct rate...
This is a quick hack for super flat lifepo4 batteries.... Where they shut down due to low SoC.
It means you don't have to remove the battery from the van if using an older style charger without the restart feature.
