Was this any good in the end? The online reviews seem to be average to scathing! I do like the idea of decent bands with this one!

Reviews would suggest it should be renamed “Calling all mugs”. I’m very keen on the idea, especially “family friendly” but less keen on being dry-fisted for the privilege. Senior management does enjoy some creature comforts, whilst the boys and I are happy to rough it!

I’m still keen on being able to camp up in a good location/venue, have a beer or two too many and enjoy a few live tunes. I’m not interested in buying flashing Chinese tat and calling it a “festival”!!!

We can't do Camperjam next year and the proper acts on this one (due to be revealed on Friday) appealed to me...

Woah, woah, woah! £560 for 4 nights camping without hook-up, accessible water or waste near-by?!! That’s before I have a beer?!!!

Sophie E-B or Jesse J had better give me a guaranteed “happy ending” for that!

Busfest?

Or does the “I only had a glass of wine” rehab counsellor for it?!!

Wait, there's no water? I hadn't spotted that! Don't need EHU, but it's guaranteed sunshine isn't it in August? Said nobody ever...

The reviews suggest that water, toilets and elsan are a right traipse away!

Ha ha ha! You’ve been knobbled!

We will probably do BusFest again. It was disappointing that the first ever “camping festival” for the boys this year was so damp/miserable. They still enjoyed it and loved meeting T6Forum members
They seemed to be having fun! I do hope you had a break or two!

Not read any of the reviews but we went and had a great time. Was our first family festival with the van having done Glastonbury, Reading and loads of other smaller ones lots of times in tents. Was tame in comparison but as it was our 6 year olds first festival that was what we were looking for.

I thought it was good value (about £300 for two adults and one child). Food and drink was pretty good quality and average prices for these sorts of events.

We booked late so were not in the most ideal field but it was only 20 mins walk to the main area, 3 mins to water and elsan (and camp toilets). That said, we left the van around 11:00 and got back after the last band at 23:00 each day so only emptied/refilled the toilet once.

Expect we will be going again next year.

Hope this helps.
