BUSFEST NEWS - JULY 2019

Dare I say it? - This time in two months, it'll be all over! We will be on the pull down week, and in the final few days that it takes to turn our festival grounds into the same condition that we took them over.
Some of this below was said in the May News, but there have been some changes and additions, so read on!

LANGDALE WOOD.
This campsite is not available to us this year as it is being developed to have holiday lodges. We hope it will be possible to have some camping back in that area next year.

CAMPING.
Some of our campsites are now full and have closed for bookings. Our remaining camping areas are filling up rapidly now and they will also be closing soon too. So if you want to come to BusFest this year, get your bookings in NOW!

AVON & WYE HALLS HARDSTANDING.
We had originally planned on moving everything from this area to a new location, after being told it would be a building site for the construction of a new exibition suite. This is not going to happen until after our festival now, so it's business in that area as usual.

DETAILING DISPLAY.
We are pleased to welcome AutoGlym to a new feature that we are hosting in the South Pavilion Marquee (The Marquee Stage is in the North Pavilion Marquee)
We will be having displays, tutorials and demonstrations on the various things that you can do to make/keep your pride and joy in tip top cosmetic condition, so come along and join in.
And there's a bar in there!

SYNCRO TRIAL.
Our very popular Syncro Trial which used to be in the area beyond Langdale Wood has now been relocated to a fabulous new purpose built area in the North section of the showground, between N1 & N2 Campsites. This should make it a lot more accessible to all Syncro 4WD enthusiasts.

FOOD.
After consulting with the showground caterers, we will be introducing a new STREET FOOD VILLAGE to the festival this year. This will be located between the Chill Stage and the Pamper Zone and will give us a much more diverse selection of fayre than previously. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE STILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRICING STRUCTURE OR THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF FOOD SERVED!

DISPLAYS.
Following the success of last years “Malvern Big VW”, we will this year be celebrating 70 YEARS since the birth of the VW Transporter, plus 40 years of the T3/T25 Transporter. We will also have many other vehicle displays over the weekend.

PAMPER ZONE.
Located in it's new permanent home, slap bang in the middle of the Trade Village, our oasis of style, comfort and pampering will be running throughout the weekend. The ladies are well catered for, but this year, we are introducing a new area - THE MAN CAVE! in a separate area, kitted out in style, for all your male needs:
Barbering and styling for beards.
Hair cutting & styling.
Facials.
Body Massage.
Head Massage.
Manicure.
Holistic Therapies.
Well-being advice and instruction.
Products for sale, as well as samples, instruction, tuition.
Men! Come along and be pampered too - you know you want to............
ENTERTAINMENT.
As usual we don’t hold back on this one, and this year we have managed to get about as diverse a mix of day and night time entertainment as you can get .

FANCY DRESS.
As you know, we don't do themes. However, if you feel the need to dress up for whatever reason, we leave it to you to come up with your own fancy dress ideas for the event.

MUSIC STAGES:

SEVERN STAGE:
We have a "PARTY & DANCE WEEKEND" at the Severn Stage, with a Country & Western Barn/Line Dance Party with the HEYWOOD & MOORE HOEDOWN BAND on Friday night, and a Latino Party Night with Salsa/Latino from the fantastic COCO XPRESS on Saturday night.

MARQUEE STAGE:
The Marquee Stage will host a "CLUB WEEKENDER" and will be absolutely banging with ROCK THE 90’S doing the Rave scene on Friday Night and SOLA banging out the EDM hits of the 00's and 10's, on Saturday Night.

SHEEPSHED STAGE:
The Sheepshed Stage will have Rock, Ska, Punk, and Alternative from DEVIOUS, SKAKASM and many more bands yet to be announced.

CHILL STAGE:
The Chill Stage will have laid back folk rock at the Chill Stage with DRUIDS BREW.

DANCE STAGE:
Pumping Dance, Trance, Club and EDM at the Dance Stage with KWEENONY and their fantastic Party Bus, with special guest DJ's.

RADIO STAGE:
New for this year - VDub Radio will be on Main Street with their Roadshow Rig and Studios, doing live sessions, interviews, guest appearances, fun & frolics, and giveaways!

We also have THE2MEN doing their hilarious walkabout act, and the amazing XTREME STUNT TEAM wowing you all in the Main Arena.

With our massive TRADE VILLAGE(the biggest of ANY VW festival), food court, bars, sideshows, arena displays and activities, kids entertainers, AND some things still to come that we haven't announced yet, It is going to be a good one this year folks.

*************************************************************************************

Only a few weeks to go till BUSFEST starts. I have been informed that the tickets/passes will start being sent out by e mail next Friday.

If you have someone who is arriving on the Thursday afternoon to marshal your pitch, please can you supply me with their name . Also whoever it is that you nominate please ask them not to arrive until 4 pm, as they will not be able to gain entry.

Can I remind you all about having no ground fires, several areas were damaged last year and had to be repaired.

Also to remember to be neighbourly, and considerate to fellow campers, some do have young children with them.
