I can’t find the eBike ban on the site. I can find motorised bikes which is very different.
Read it as this ….could be wrong ..

  • You can bring your own alcohol, but please dispose of waste in the bins provided.
  • No motorised leisure scooters / bikes / skateboards. Electric mobility scooters and pedal bikes are however permitted.

Electric mobility scooters and pedal bikes are however permitted.

you could read it as ‘electric pedal bikes are however permitted’…

That’s how I’m reading it. But where did that sign come from @VanDamMan come from? That’s very explicit about ebikes.

Just received an email about another festival (Adventure Bike) that is going ahead this weekend.

Why is it that some festivals are allowed and not others?

I decided not to bother with this one this year. Now wish I had got tickets.

Has anyone seen a list of traders for next weekend? Might need to bring the credit card and leave the wife at home that's all :p

Thanks @Dellmassive, I’d read a post the other day on Facebook from camperjam that a list of traders was due to be released. Hopefully some good ones on there

how can you enjoy the football at Camper Site?

We want you to be prepared... as much as we'd love to, Camper Site has no large screens or stages that can draw crowds. We just don't have the infrastructure to socially distance a crowd of 4,000 people for a football match. We did have plans in place for Camper Jam, but with Step 3 restrictions it's just not possible at Camper Site.
That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the football however, with a bit of preparation you can safely watch from the comfort of your pitch or picnic table within your family bubble. It's a great opportunity to test and take advantage of your vans entertainment system. Grab a Pizza, Curry, Fish and Chips. Burger or Kebab from one of our great food traders, beers from the bar and enjoy it back at your pitch.
Tip: We would recommend that you don't rely on internet access to live stream it, you'll be one of thousands trying and mobile coverage is not great throughout the park.
Your best bet It is to receive it via the terrestrial TV broadcast and there are now many portable tv's as well as devices that will work with tablets, phones, laptops etc. such as this one perhaps.
If that sounds like too much then we've all got stereos so why not tune in to Radio 5 live on 909/693 MW and enjoy their world class commentary.
We really hope you enjoy your Saturday night at Camper Site!

Hope you guys n gals ..Hoist the Colours so we can find you….ETA 1630 (ish )….let’s hope the Pizza van doesn’t run out

I've mentioned this at previous events, but we live a few miles from Weston Park (Albrighton), so if anyone is in need of emergency tools, camping supplies etc then happy to help out.
We will be around Saturday and first part of Sunday.

Pete
