Bluetooth error with Comp Media H/U

I have composite media and Bluetooth says connect then says turn on ignition...? Nothing happens and Bluetooth won't turn on...???? Any ideas

Do you mean your Bluetooth won’t switch on even when you turn the engine

Yes engine on and it says turn ignition on to enable Bluetooth.... scanned it and fault on carista contact-switch ignition....

You could try a soft reset of the unit first... I think it’s done by holding down the power button for 20 or so seconds, in which you should see the unit cycle off and on again.
See if that helps first.

Done a soft reset then factory reset on the unit on the telephone setting and disconnected the battery for 30 minutes

Hi Andrew, did you ever get this problem sorted? I am having the same issue and its driving me insane trying to work out whats wrong!
