Black bike rack T6 version 2

I couldn’t find another post on this yet. I’ve seen a few T6s recently with the version 2 of the bike rack but in black. They look rad and would go nicely camo with my black T6.

It’s the one with the wider frame. Here it is in silver:

I want it in black, but I can’t find it anywhere. Any pointers on where I can buy one, or is powder coating the only way to go, as I see some have done this.

VW dont make them in black so you need to find someone who is stripping and powder coating them for resale
Only person i can think of is @MAT@VWT5UPGRADES

Yes, used a local company, they stripped it and reassembled.
Made a very good job, where are you based?

Cambridge Campervans provided mine. They get it stripped down and powder coated. Roughly £800

I have a VW T6 Tailgate bike rack (not powder coated), Version 2, 2 weeks old, used once. Only selling because the tailgate won't open fully with the (Skyline Aurora) pop top up!

Hi Jog, uploaded pic, I paid £569.99, from Vanstyle, ideally £500, so I can get the Version 1, which doesn't sit so proud of the roof.

£200 to strip and spray black. Already had the v2 rack so didn’t cost a lot to go black. Looks 100% better IMO. My local dealer did it all for me. Very helpful.
