Bilstein Coilovers

On the rears the adjuster sits on top of the spring so not as easy to adjust as you would think so pays to get them right on install
Dont personally have them on mine so cant say with any authority but think you will need to remove them to adjust which will involve jacking the van and releasing the lower arm to take tension of the adjuster

I imagine they are talking about drop links on the front, some people change them for shorter ones some leave them as is, depends how low you are going ?

Trying to alter the tears when they are on the van is a pig. You will not get the spanner on the adjuster nut, as it fouls on the chassis. You have to Jack the van up high and drop the struts and springs out the way.

I don’t won’t to go to low as like I say I want the flexibility of fully loading inc bikes also towing the caravan.
This is the actual van with them fitted and I would be quite happy at this height I also have the same wheels.
Nothing is as easy as first thought!! This is where the forum is invaluable.

I have B14’s fitted with Devonports, ended up going back to the garage that fitted them 3 times to sort the height. Now the back end is of the floor the plan is to go to @BognorMotors and ask them to do it properly :)

I will have a look aroun and see if there is s more specialist company around Newcastle that have done them before and ask them for s price for fitting.
All the companies on the forum all seam to be down south.

Th

The garage just Left me a message and it will cost £150 to fit them which I think is ok but they told me I might need extra links? I haven’t a clue what that means?.

They might mean anti roll bar dropper links, you won’t need them no, and that’s cheap to fit. Are they aligning it too?

I have just had a more specialist company on this morning that told me the same That they don’t need to replace them. So I feel more confident with this company. £120 fitting and £100 for alignment so that found ok?.

Expensive alignment, but I pay £70 for a hunter one... but it’s cheap fitting so yeah go for it! Someone quoted me £270 plus vat to do it

He did give me 2 prices for the alignment one was about £80 and the other was £120 but I can’t remember the difference was. I just allowed for the more expensive but I will ask.
