Bikestow Bed Box

Hi - has anyone installed the Bed Box sold by Bikestow? It looks nice but the dimensions of the back of the unit look like it might not clear the wheel arch. The unit only has clearance for 340mm which I reckon is pretty tight. I am planning my day van conversion and currently have trade ply on my T6.1 and the wheel arches are covered with ply boxes so I can't take a measurement. I know I could take the boxes off but I need them on for a bit longer so don't want to rip them off to take a measurement. Most unit seem to have a minimum of 400mm to provide clearance.

I think the Bikestow bed unit has only been around for a few months so I appreciate there may not be many out there. It looks to me as it these are being marketed more for VW Caddys and the like.

Hi Musties, a good friend of mine has this in his long wheel base shuttle, he didn't need to modify (it's actually his van photographed in the Bikestow pictures) I think he cut a notch at the rear of the bed to get it to fit snug. If in doubt drop them an email, they're a great outfit and the quality of work is excellent

Hi - thanks for the reply. I did e-mail Bikestow asking if it would fit but they just sent me a link to the dimensions. I can see their point as they can't be certain for everybody's situation. But, they are not far away so I'll probably just go and see once I have the trade ply removed.
