Poptop Choices

They sound amazing, I just don't think I can't justify the extra over the Storm or Stealth given their great reviews and what I'm after....

Really it's the question of do I want it to look super low profile (and thus allow roof bars) or not.... And is that worth the extra 1k
That said the horizon sport is 6k + VAT, so would be 7200... :/

best thing you could do is physically go look at their facility and at one, you'll be able to see one fitted and they wont be afraid to pop it up and grab hold of it and be rough with it side to side etc to show you the difference in construction and quality. Some people think they are more expensive, but if you look at the detail and go spec for spec with scenic canvas and bifold bed (which the Horizon comes with as standard) then the Horizon isn't as expensive as first thought!

Fully Specced Storm (scenic, bifold) Vs Horizon is £4060 Vs £7200...

Both have great reviews, both are built really well - I just don't think personally I can justify 3k for extra headroom and a low profile....

Don't get me wrong though they look incredible, I love the low profile and how high they go!

Posted to Germany so not easy to go look at one...

It did that when looking for mine, which didnt endear me to some sellers. The difference between the solid built mouldings with decent hinges and beefy struts and those with wimpy struts and floppy roof mouldings was marked. Its worth choosing a good one - last time I was away it was up in 40mph winds, enough to have the entire van rocking with the gusts, but the poptop just shrugged it off.
