SWB unit with Ovano?

Hello all,

I’m wondering if anyone has a kitchen type storage unit in their SWB van that is compatible with the Ovano units?


The picture above is the current set up of the van, I’m seeing if there is anything on the market that would be compatible with the Ovano, have the unit below the driver window - my idea is that this unit could also act as a support for that side of the bed when folded down, to maximise size of unit and also the space.

I have mocked up this ChatGPT image below, obviously height is wrong but you get the jist



Anyone aware of any units that are on the market, or do I speak to the likes of the ply guys to discuss custom units

Maybe worth getting in touch with ovano, they recently put posts out about what people wanted them to develop

I spoke to Ovano and have emailed them with the pictures - fingers crossed something could be done because it would be great for non combi with their units fitted to the back

Agreed and it looks like you have gone down a similar path to me. I amost forgot to mention that we are talking to a chap on ebay who makes boxes in the same material as the Ovano system. I note there are two through holes at the front (bottom) of the system which you could put a bolt through. So the idea would be to bolt the box to the Ovano frame.
