Best DIY spline set.

Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice on what is an ideal spline set to get that covers most DIY tasks.

I've never had a VAG before so I have no bases covered. What are the common sizes used across the components? I will be servicing, swapping small parts if they fail, EGR pipes, auxiliary tensioners, suspension and brake jobs etc. I wont be removing gearboxes or engines.

I already have sockets, allens, torx etc. So not looking to pick up an all in set. Just a quality spline set that covers most common sizes.

We've moved from snap-on to Franklin tools. Alot cheaper and also a lifetime guarantee. Halfords professional tools are good to. These is what I've got, had plenty of hammer and still goodScreenshot_20240324_143553_eBay.jpg

Snap, also had this set for quite a few years (draper), give it some stick at times and it has not failed yet!
