Battery Charge Mode - No Throttle

Hi, new to this site so bear with me! I have had to jump start my T6 as a heated seat discharged the battery. The engine is now running and hopefully charging battery (higher revs) but I have no throttle so cannot drive it as yet. Will this fix itself and how long might it take - been running a couple of hours now. Many thanks for any assistance

Once you are confident that it charged you could try turning off and locking the van then open and start again and see you have reset the ECU....... if you are unlucky, well who knows what's been fried..

Many thanks for your reply - I did exactly that - shut it down, locked , unlocked - restarted and all went well! Thankfully. I took the precaution of taking the negative contact point from an engine mounting point to protect the ECU. More luck than skill though me thinks. So much to learn as it's my first VW campervan and the T6 is way to intelligently (electronics) built, not like the old days of bump it and go lol. Thanks again.
