You may have seen in my build thread that I’ve used the Audi Headlining Material to trim my headliner, A & B Posts. After 12 months I thought I’d give an update on how it’s fairing! And it’s not so good!
When this started to come away I thought maybe I’d put too much tension in the material, not enough adhesive, but…..
It looks like there’s a failure in the fabric between the surface layer and the scrim backing foam!
I’m not suggesting that the material isn’t suitable, but I wanted to let anyone who’s interested know that when I redo it I’m going to be putting far less tension in the material
So that’s another job on the list!
