I’m confused, did you alter someone else post again?but I've amended your interpretation to more accurately reflect my interpretation.
I think many people that are struggling to feed every family member, to hear their houses and battle black mould etc will still worry about what pollution is doing to them too.Which basically is, if you & your family are literally starving to death & living in abject poverty, then climate change (quite rightly) isn’t high on your list of priorities.
Poor Ella was either the only 1 person recorded of dying from air pollution between 2001 and 2021 or she died after 2021?I think many people that are struggling to feed every family member, to hear their houses and battle black mould etc will still worry about what pollution is doing to them too.
Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah died at nine years old due to air pollution in London. The family lived 25 metres from the South Circular Road in Lewisham, south-east London - because the housing there is cheap.
They were clearly managing food etc but you can’t uproot away from work if you can’t afford higher rent or a mortgage.
Lots of people worry about the air they breathe- it affects all of our health now (and therefore all of our wallets as healthcare is not cheap).

He did for levity and highlighted the point however it is disappointing that there seems to be a reluctance on the part of a moderator to accept that anything we do in the West will go anyway towards countering global warming, this on a thread asking "are EVs the way forward".I’m confused, did you alter someone else post again?
I've never ever charged in public.During April a new public charging point for EVs was added every 29 minutes! And we now have almost 80k public EV charging points in the UK.
Lots of other positives to note here: Less paperwork, more chargepoints: government cuts red tape to make it easier, quicker and cheaper to switch to EVs
Is it a modesty thing and not even the odd miner back in the day?I've never ever charged in public.

I just don't like flopping my plug out in public. Is it a modesty thing and not even the odd miner back in the day?![]()
What's being a mod got to do with it? Do you view mods as skivvies - we should clean up the day to day crap on the forum, but never express an opinion - or are you just trying to silence me because I don't agree with your view?...it is disappointing that there seems to be a reluctance on the part of a moderator to that anything we do in the West will go anyway towards countering global warming,

@Bav I think you've definitely got an opinion on things which clashes with the level playing field that a moderator is there to provide. What's being a mod got to do with it? Really? China produces just under a third of the total CO2 output of the world & is currently building more coal fired power stations than any other country. Over 50% of china’s electricity is produced from coal. It’s true that China also produces more renewable power than most, but this isn’t to replace the fossil fuels, it’s as well as.China is already way ahead of us in that department and making our efforts irrelevant.
China increases its C02 output every year by more than the UKs total output.Really? For the record, we no longer produce electricity from coal in the UK & the majority of our electricity is from renewable sources or nuclear.
Aye! Those EVs don’t grow on treesChina increases its C02 output every year by more than the UKs total output…..

Thanks for that mate, appreciated.Scotland produces more electricity than it can use and a lot of it gets sent down south for England to use.
Any more of that and you’re getting switched offThanks for that mate, appreciated.
