Sounds like carnage down there - think I dodged a bullet.

Last night was mental.
It was like a hurricane we were trying to sleep in
Thing is I would have been delighted with this weather back home.
Wife said we’ve had one heavy shower at home so far and the ground instantly soaked it up

We were blessed with not one, but two of our finest Scottish members, @Vanderlust and @The Flying Scotsman . How lucky we are! Apart from the weather of course!

I did my best to take it down in the wind, I think it will live!
I didn't get the chance to remove the potentially full bivvy loo from its compartment, and managed to collapse the Joolca enough to drag it into the awning out of the wind. Thanks to @czmate1999 for his help.
Today has turned out better than expected with plenty of sun, gusty still but nothing like last night.

If you’re that ‘windy’ Wayne you should get the paddle board out and try it. You might not need the paddle for propulsion.

We left the scorching heat of Dundee on Friday and arrived in Bala just in time for the rain starting.
After spending the weekend in horrendous weather got back to the sunshine in Dundee last night and the sun is out again today.
Wife told me we had some heavy showers during the night but everything is bone dry again and the water didn’t touch our rivers.
