Thanks all, sorry should have checked the events section but still finding my way around so to speak.
I checked the summer camp but unsurprisingly site looks pretty booked up

Finally got my van back working great and am booked into CRS tomorrow for my suspension so away to head to Bala soon but tried booking at the campsite for tonight and it won’t let me book. I know I need to book 3 nights because of the bank holiday but it says I need to book a day in advance.
I plan on staying there tonight before heading to CRS in the morning then coming back
Will give them a phone and beg

Mention the forum - that should sway it... one way or the other!

Gutted that I'll miss the chance to meet the legend that is Gordon!

Office opens in a couple minutes so will start the begging then
Hopefully be the final hurdle.
Is no different from anything else I do. Never straight forward, always had to fight for everything.
But I’m a determined SOB :p 💪

Final hurdle has been cleared :mexican wave:
Lovely gent who owns the site said because I’m part of the T6 crew he would make an exception and I’m booked in today :geek:
So away to get my laddie up get sorted and start my 6 hour drive down to see you guys:waving:
Unfortunately no beers for me 🥺
Bloody antibiotics but my face is killing me so I’ve no option.
I will however bring some whiskey down for you guys and watch my laddie drink all my beers

Sounds like carnage down there - think I dodged a bullet.
Not sure what it is like in Bala specifically because Wales being mountainous and hilly, Weather can be very local but in some parts of Wales it is sunny and light breeze at this moment in time and last night at its worse a stronger breeze with heavier Drizzle nothing too heavy or unusual for Wales.

Big winds at midnight, but I was impressed with the 'improvised Ents tent' that was our Outwell Touring Shelter Air.
It's got to do it all again at 3pm today with 40mph winds forecast.
Well done Outwell!
