Would you be able to get just the fitting kit? DAB/ mfsw/ reversing camera? Only reason is I was going to do pay in 3 on PayPal on the halo unit

It would need an external power source in that case from leisure battery or some thing. Yours like mine must be wired to ignition live. Mine stays on until I remove the keys.

Just fitted the 11” halo t61 pack with all the alpine adaptors and ecall retention and all works fine except on the MFD it says audio and telephone is not available , I thought that was refined with the t61 kit?
Also, how do you retain the usb-c connectors in a t6.1, is it necessary to get a bit creative and take the module apart

Nice. Just booked mine in for 11" I was debating whether a 9 or 11.
I'm having amplifier and S/W. The door speakers were upgraded few months ago.
Do you have rear speakers? I was thinking of 6.5 Alpine in pods. I'm just wondering what improvement it would make.
With yours installed, what have you done with the factory C-type charger? I was told they won't work so a separate location is needed. I was thinking of getting them to take the cigarette lighter out and locating charger there. Thanks
I suggest amping the front speakers plus the sub, run the rears off the Alpine, no need to go mad on the rears,
When we install Halo’s to the t6.1 we retain the usb c for charging , they also retain the illumination and CarPlay
I just had an Alpine 11" fitted. Absolutely awesome. If you have a T6.1 the 11" suits it

Hopefully pulling the trigger on a halo this week, just bene reading all the threads and info on the 9 vs 11 debate. Can't decide if the £300 is worth it but after reading you can possibly run a fire stick through it I may be tempted.
I always like to point out that the resolution is the same on both of them 1280 x 720. So inherently the DPI is higher on the Halo 9.

Don't suppose you've run any video through them yet? I used to have the cheap android headunits years back that had youtube etc on them, that'd be great to find a solution
You can plug any HDMI source into yes, or play video from a USB. I downloaded some 720p content from Youtube to test on the USB and it looks fine.
Booked in with Jason at Absolute 5 11th July for Halo 9…….or 11 Leaning towards the 11at the moment…………..I think!

Just reading the "what's the best head unit thread" and saw complaints about the halo issues with connectivity and android phones, call quality etc
Any android users with any feedback? Hoping this was cleared up with updates etc. Seems a fair chunk to spend to then have phone connection issues

£300.00 difference, that’s way to much of a difference
We haven’t experienced any issues with Android that I can remember, the only issue we have come across is the usb c connection, but we have now overcome this
