Alpine Halo 11 - Factory Fit Reverse Camera

Can anyone tell me if the the Alpine Halo 11, is plug and play compatible with the genuine VW factory fitted reversing camera that is already in the van?

If not, point me in the direction of an adapter, or the correct camera?

I already know I have to use an E-Call adaptor, and USB C kit, in addition to the correct Alpine fitting kit - I have all that, but would like to know about the camera before I start.

Just looking at this myself. The touch screen has gone on my OEM head unit, and I’m not convinced that I will be happy long term with the quality of a replacement digitizer and so maybe a replacement is due with an Alpine Halo at the top of the list. My problem is the OEM reversing camera, which still works fine, and the fact that my tailgate trim is bonded in place and will be potentially awkward to remove & refit if I have to replace the camera not to mention any change to the cabling.
The link by @BiTurbo doesn’t answer the question, as the adaptor cable that links to enables the use of an aftermarket reversing camera with the OEM head unit and not the other way around.

I just went for it in the end, and the factory camera fit the rear of the Halo 11, without anything else needed.

It was literally plug and play. The Halo 11 comes with a shed ton of cables, connectors, wires, etc...I may have used one cant remember, but I do know I didnt have to buy anything else, it just worked.
