Aircon degassed - canna find leak

The aircon on the T6 was possibly the strongest i have experienced but after some front lower arms suspension work my aircon was mysteriously degassed... I have had it regassed at £180 as its front and back aircon but by teh time i got home from garage it was degassed again. The garage is happy to look for UV stains from aircon leak but cant put my weight van on thir lift. I bought a UV light and cant see any obvious leak although there is plenty of UV splatter most places i can see after removing teh engine underbody cover.

Does anyone have similar experience and know where to look for leaks? i cannot figure out teh path of any aircon lines to examine joints.

Thanks in advance :)

Everytime i have aircon issues on any vehicle i ring a local AC guy that comes out in a van
He pressurises the system and checks for leaks before gassing, there isnt that many places it can be leaking form
The condensor is always the most probable item for AC issues as its open(ish) to stone strikes from the front but given your situation it may be that they have disturbed a joint while doing work ?
You may need to get the front bumper off to access the condensor and the lines/joints from it to the compressor

Seems amazing that a garage would just re-gas without pressure testing first with dry nitrogen.
On industrial installations I’ve used an ultrasonic leak detector with headphones, that will detect the smallest of leaks with ease. IMO go to a specialist, with the ultrasonic detector you don’t need to see the location, just be able to get the microphone in.

Agree with @DXX - I find it quite shocking that a garage would just re gas without checking for leaks- where did they think the gas suddenly went??

Condenser damage?
Compressor seal?
Chaffing pipe, missing support bracket after recent maintenance?

Evaporator, looks a bit involved, best to make a video and notes pulling that much apart.
How did the evaporator fail?
