Good evening all,
I have spent many hours searching for info regarding the installation of additional 12v components such as USB sockets, DC-DC chargers and the like. Nearly all of these seem to detail using the spilt charge relay and/or taped up 12v cable under the passenger seat but I have none of these in my 2016 Euro 5 LWB Highline.
I know I can take a feed from the centre of the fusebox under the dash but I would rather take an independent feed directly from the e-box which I know some of you have done. Unfortunately regardless of my efforts I have been unable to find info on what is required, such as crimp size and fuse type or are ready made cables available? I have asked Travelvolts for help and await a reply (I am impatient...) but so far all I know is that it needs to be 15mm2 and 100A.

Can anyone offer any guidance please?

Not necessarily, it’s dependant on your DC-DC charger. If you have a CTEK for example, thats only capable of supplying 20a. 8mm2 would be ample with a 30a fuse
