A diesel that sounds great...

A truly rare thing - our vans sound pretty poor for example BUT there's a holiday home (spit spit) down the road with a new SQ7 and my word it sounds amazing when it drives up the road - proper deep rumble.

Quite liked our 335d sound and some others are okay (NO four pots sound good though) but this really does sound rather epic. Faith slightly restored....

I bet it's sound boosted. The bigger engines audis use sounds boosters like the kufatec. The a7 diesels use them.

No issues with upgrading exhausts. Nowt else needs upgrading to make it "safe."

The Performance exhaust for my M135i sounds evil but it's a bit OTT for us.

HD 1340 shovel head with straight thru slash cut pipes.. Now there's a nice sound.. Especially at full chat on the dyno!

What do they get fitted into?

The inlaws two 350bhp diesels sounded quite naughty in their Botnia Targa too. Hopeful they'll be getting another soon.
