So I have had the green light from the other half, (or should I say she has got fed up of me talking about it constantly!) To purchase some wheels. I have finally decided on some Fuel zephyrs but can't decide on what size tyres! Do I go 235/65/17 or 245/65/17?! The 235 will obviously mean less error on Speedo and less gearing etc issues, but I keep thinking will the 245 fill the arch more and just look better?! Please help! Should say I am looking at Falken Wildpeaks

235’s are pretty tight in the arches, I would say you’d have potential of rubbing with 245 without any arch liner fettling.

Yea I am thinking more towards 235. It's a t32 but it will be full camper and then when it is fully loaded up will it rub? Do I just play it safe?!

A vehicle should only be rejected if the tyre is fouling a part of the vehicle at the time of test.On my T32 (running Solow's) I currently have 225/55/17 tyres on my Fuel Zephyr's. I'm having 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeaks fitted next Tuesday at @BognorMotors (after they fit their new Bognor' Edition Bilstein Coilovers).
The 225's are a good fit in the arch at the front but there is room for an extra 5mm. It could easily handle going wider at the rear. If it wasn't for ground clearance issues I would have kept the Solow's but I need to go up a little and they're currently running at maximum height.

235/65/17 Falken Wildpeak on Fuel Zephyrs. Sat at approx 70mm down on BMVS Edition Bilstein Coilovers. There is no noticeable increase in road noise compared to the Goodyear Efficientgrip's fitted previously and the speedo matches GPS exactly.

Liking that a lot, are the tyres 235/55 or 235/65 as previously suggested? any rubbing at 70mm?

No rubbing yet, but I've only driven home and round the block. They're obviously bigger tyres but seem to sit at pretty much the same position in the arch as the 225/55's did with the Solow's, even if they are slightly wider. The 225's only rubbed once in a big depression with a bit of lock on so I don't forsee any issues with these. I will probably add a 10 or 15mm spacer to the rears.
I'm pleased with the suspension too but that's for another thread.

@Toffermora if you do decide on the Zephyrs, they are a great looking wheel and the bash rings are quite sturdy...

They look great @The Bear78 ...... it makes me want to go a bit lower on my ST-X coilovers as have the same tyre size (Michelin Cross Climates) - be interested to know if you get any rubbing on full lock
Whatever you go for, make sure that the wheels and tyres are the correct load rating (103 min) for a T32
Cheers for the report @The Bear78 went for 235/65/17 on the Zephyrs, just waiting until the garage can fit me in to get them on. I noticed the lip when I got them, hopefully won't annoy me too much!
@Scottish Scrutineer tyres are 108 and wheels are load rated to 960 so all good.
