Quick question folks, will 235/65/17 tyres fit on my OEM 17” steels. Just wondering if the 235 will be too wide. Thanks

I cant remember how much by, but unbanded Amarok 18s are wider than the Transporter 17s. Be worth checking.

235/55x17 is a standard size for the transporter. 235/65 x 17 is the same width but just taller by around 45mm (diameter)

Hi there, hoping for some advice re steel wheels and all season tyres. We have a 2018 T30 LWB camper conversion which we bought with a lift kit and General Grabber AT3s (size 235/65/17) fitted to 17" steel wheels. This set-up wasn't working for us, so I contacted Steve at CRS Performance who sorted us out with a standard springs/koni active dampers solution - brilliant advice/service and very happy with the results. The question is now what tyres I replace the AT3's with? These haven't been great on the roads up here in Highlands of Scotland where we live. I'm relatively new to the van world, so was thinking to keep it simple and just replace with the new Michelin Cross Climate 3's in the same size on the same wheels (both seem to cover the load rating required). Is this the way to go, or should I use the opportunity to swap to 18" wheels and spec teh Michelin's in 235/55/18? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Very happy with my Agilis (van) Cross Climates on 16s.
