10amp French supply

Evening chaps, over thinking things as usual but heading to Camping du letty in August with 10amp supply so around 2300 watts? Trying to figure out what I’m going to be pulling on the van power wise to avoid tripping, does the below look about right would you say? Thinking fridge will be on all time although switching itself on and off along with mains plugged in so charger. Then it’s phone chargers during night and then any cooking.

Microwave 800w checked

Plug in Grill 1500w checked

Kettle 600w checked

Fridge 75w? Isotherm dr49

Led int Lights 30w??

Diesel heater 150 watts on start up? Webasto air top 2000

Sargent Charger 480w when charging?

Solar panel?

Need to check phone chargers etc?

Camping Gentele in Bruges recently had a 10 amp supply and a 5kw limit, I managed to trip it using the van induction hob wound down to 1600 watts. Fortunately it was an App based reset, but that should only have been about 7A. You're wise to be cautious! Also 3 different sites we stayed on had reversed polarity, foreign electric ain't as standard as ours!
Just make sure you have an alternative! I just unplugged and used the van battery, most cooking done on gas.

We’re off to Brittany for a week soon. We have a basic hook-up cable with RCD trip for the alpicool fridge and phone charging.

Is reverse polarity going to cause us any issues?

10 amp is plenty , just dont expect to have your kettle, toaster, heater all on at the same time.
Easier to cook on gas.
Given up checking for reversed polarity, never caused me any problems.

Reverse polarity on a campsite electric hook-up is usually not immediately dangerous, but it is not considered safe and should be corrected if possible.
In the UK, live and neutral are expected to be connected a certain way. On some European campsites, live and neutral may be reversed. Many appliances will still work normally, but there are risks:
Switches may disconnect the neutral instead of the live conductor.
Parts of an appliance could remain live even when switched off.
Some surge protectors and safety devices may not operate as intended.
Fault-finding and maintenance become more hazardous.

I took out a mains tester plug and an EHU reverse cable to put things right, both relatively cheap (around £15 each).

The microwave 800w power rating will pull much more on the 240 mains side?.... Unless you have checked with a plug in power meter?

As others have said just use one big ticket item at a time.

When you get there, check the EHU post to see if you can self reset the breaker if it pops.

Just in case a reset is needed, you can also buy a cheap ‘multi key’ that will get you into a lot of boxes if they’re locked. I can also remember a few occasions over the years when when a breaker had already been tripped when we arrived and needed resetting - on one of those, I had to pick a small padlock to get into the box (but it was a christmas cracker lock). Once I’m set up, I want my cuppa without waiting half an hour for somebody to turn up and get the leccy flowing!
