I’ve just tried this afternoon. Mentioned TVC and T6 Forum. They said they had put me down as an Owners Club Member and a discount had been applied but can’t see any reference to it on the quote they emailed through. Will double check if I go for it.

A-Plan have been part of Howden for quite a while, it's just a name change recently.

Renewed my insurance with them today, matched the cheapest comparison site quote. Unfortunately still up nearly 20% on last year, it would appear that is a general problem.

Little update. Rang Howden this morning for a quote.

Howden / A Plan's underwriters will no longer insure vans which are kept on the street in major cities.

I'm in London so I guess screw me. On to Brentacre next


Edit - this is also with tracker and immobiliser which they said makes no difference now. Security like that is purely linked to value.
