Anybody have any experience of having a Quaife ATB limited slip differential fitted to an FWD T6? Mine's a 2018 150PS 6 speed Highline van with the 17" Devonports and a set of Agilis CrossClimates fitted. Stock T30 suspension.
I'm looking to achieve better traction on wet campsites, muddy...
Hi, I havent used the van for a few weeks now. Went to use it today to go to work, everything fine until I turn into works road, then I get the 'skipping' feeling. I note diff lock is activated. ? I never activated this. Now it wont deactivate? I have vcds at home, but obv at work right now...

Due to family getting older and wanting to experience things on their own more, holidays with mum and dad are getting far less attractive. Mum’s also not so keen if truth be told. So unfortunately my van is not really serving any purpose for us anymore. I’m reluctant to move it on, it’s a bit...
I've seen a t5.1 with rear diff lock ( had a type off plastic actuator mounted on the rear diff )
But on the 2018 rear diff chap said it had diff lock .I'm confused. Anyone know . Only details I have is.

So, 12 months ago I had both solenoids changed on my diff lock (T6, 199hp caravelle 4M). One was burned out, the other simply didn't work. The locker has worked fine up to now and I have made a point of using it at least once a month, indeed it's been great pulling a caravan out of a campsite...
Hi all.... just joined today to seek the collective wisdom of the forum for a (hopefully soon) purchase of a T6 Caravelle.
Previously had a T5 and T5.1 but been out of the loop since the introduction of the T6.
Could you advise on a couple of things?
Firstly engines, is there a 204 and a 199ps...
I just purchased a new Ocean for Overland Travel and thought I'd share some things I learned during my research. I knew about 4-Motion before I started shopping, but didn't realize early on that a Locking Rear Differential (1Y4) was even an option and almost made a purchase I personally might...
Hi my difflock has started coming on and won't go off. I had the Haldex unit replaced a couple of years ago. Anyone else had a problem with this ?
It's booked in to norwich vw but not until the 17th Nov. Any advice please
Hi. Just today in the wilds of NSW, heard unusual noise outside when turning on a gritty town street - noticed the diff lock had turned on, all by itself. Not an accidental bump. Does not cancel with button. Comes on repeatedly when driving off at low speed, and warning sounds when up to a...
Planning to purchase our next overland vehicle for global travel, and looking to buy a newer T6.1 Ocean 4-motion, European (LHD) version. I'd like to get the locking rear Diff, but need the van in the next few months, so don't have time to wait for a custom order. Assuming I won't be able to...
If you turn on your rear diff lock, does the ECU activate the Haldex to fully engage , or do you still have to wait for the van to loose grip before it engages the 4 wheel drive?
Thanks
So I bought a T5.1 T30 LWB 4motion last summer with the diff lock option. It has the button and when you press the button I can hear a click of a relay so I assume its ON but cant see any other indicator lights to say otherwise. Could someone confirm if I should get some kind of feedback? Or if...
Hi,
I'm going to try and politely kill two birds with one stone here......so bear with me
I'm a great believer in if you're going to to job, do a good job properly once, rather than a poor job two or three times. With that in mind, why do people go to the lengths and costs of buying a 4motion...
Hi
Another question.... Almost ready to push the button today on a T32 204 DSG 4motion today, but realised it doesnt have the diff lock option on it.
My motoring is predominantly road, but want 4motion for the potential snowy conditions in the alps and also if we get bad conditions over here...
