2016 T6 4Motion - 4wd light came on and beeps

Hi,

Just recieved notification that the 4wd icon popped up on dash on wifeys way home. No other alerts. Any ideas? I have a vcds. But im at work.

Does it have diff lock? Has it been inadvertently activated?

Yup, diff lock was switched on. Why she did so is prob by accident unless it can switch itself on. She swear blind she didnt, but we all know old wives tales dont we? Now would any damage been done driving 20 miles at 55mph on motorway?

I would drive onto a bit of a loose slippery verge surface and try to spin one of the rear wheels, without diff lock

Only time will tell. At least it was on a motorway which hopefully was a relatively straight stretch. Glad it’s sorted though. I presume the light has gone off & the beeping has stopped.

Yup, lights off. Took for test run and light remained off. Wife is now informed about the difflock and 4wd. Thanks guys.
