Has anyone else had problems getting diagnosis and work done under warranty?

Didn’t work for me but put me down for 1 don’t think VW want to fix anything or not on van any way.
Best thing is I payed for a extra year when I got it but won’t ever fall for that again

My local dealers are excellent but I don't understand the voting system or know what a DMF is

I think it might have been better if you had introduced yourself first, before starting a confusing poll.

As @Pete C said, welcome to the forum, but perhaps say hello, a little bit about your van, a pic and then any issues you are having. To get a really great welcome, use the search function, search you problems, read everyone's comments about one's problem. Then you won't need a poll, as you would know everyone's issues and what they did to resolve them.

Actually its pointless as dealing with issues like this tend to be down to the dealers ability to diagnose.
