Windscreen washer low-level indication

Did you manage to retro fit the washer level switch?

Made a bit of progress, i have the washer bottle with integral level sensor...

Yes but it’s an integral part of the bottle so you have to change the whole thing

Thanks for reply. How much of a ball ache to replace the bottle and add wiring?
I enabled the warning light option through Obd eleven and the low washer flyid bulb lit up.

It’s a bumper off job, the sensor has a two pin connector and needs a cable run back to cluster (other side goes to ground)

Hmm that work vs carrying around a bottle of screenwash . Hardly the point for most upgrades. I think worth doing just because it can be done.
So VW go to bother of making another washer bottle with switch and one without.. Not just a boss that needs opening and plug adding?

Does anyone have the part number required for the new bottle, seals, connector plug and a blank for the headlight washer outlet please?

I would also would like to retrofit heated washer jets? has this been done?
