Which gas bottle do I need here for my van, is it the 907? Can you get small propane bottles?

Hi guys, I’ve never used a gas bottle in my van because we had a huge propane bottle and a CADAC COOK 2 with a quick release/clip on attachment for a propane bottle.

What bottle do I need for the van?

Is that a butane regulator? Is it as simple as connecting up a 907 bottle to that adapter and hose and I’m good?

Is it possible to get a similar sized propane bottle so that I could just take it out and use it on our CADAC COOK 2? Or will the cook

Is this just an adapter for a bottle to connect to the hose? I’m assuming the hose has a regulator somewhere along it already but I’m not sure where.

Ah ok so it’s best to try get a campingaz 907 bottle and get a butane QR regulator for the CADAC cook 2?

Canpingaz do a regulator for the Cadac Cook2 servies......£5 in GoOutdoors

Get a 907 and connect it to the bottle adapter in the gas locker for on board gas.

Then get a 907 regulator with some hose and a cadac QR connector so you can use the bottle externally with your cook2 QR.

How much are you paying for your 907 camping gas refill?.. I was charged £36 earlier.. last your that got me a 7.5kg refill..

Campsite Cooking - - How I done it - -

To Grill or not to Grill . . . . . . . . That is the Question.

I love Camping and Outdoors stuff . . whether is a Motor racing weekend meet with the lads or a family weeks holiday it normally involves outdoor cooking.

BBQ is another one of my favourite summer passtimes, going through about 15BBq`s over the years i currently have a Gas Monster and Coal Monstyer - The missus thinks i got a problem . . . LOL.


Traditionally camping for us has meant a Tent as the Van is setup as a work van . . . . so no poptop for us.
