Which First: Wheels Or Lowering?

I am currently undecided if to get some wheels or whether it is better to lower the van first?

Opinions as which is the best way with an explanation would be great. Thanks

I would say wheels first then you can lower to suit the wheels otherwise you end up having to adjust suspension

+1 on lower first . IMO a lowered van on standard wheels looks way better than a standard height van on different wheels .

Save up for a bit longer then do both things together.
Only my opinion but I think a van can look a tad daft with a lovely set of rims but sitting up high on a perch, and equally so when slammed on original wheels.
Albeit digging the swamper look currently but then the wheels on them aren’t exactly bling.

Imho..

Wheels then lower to suit..

There is no right or wrong way.....just personal preference.

Both together or I would lower first I think. As already said, a lowered van on standard steel wheels looks great compared to a van with alloys on stilts

These are standard 17 inch wheels on my newly converted 150 DSG T30 SWB. What is best kit for lowering and how many mm is recommended whilst keeping good ride. 'Rolls' a bit too much on bends for my liking.
