Anyone have a recommendation on a draw fridge?

I like the idea of the Vitrifrigo 30L as it has a freezer, and night time function.

Others are Alpicool 30L (nice price on this)

Dometco 30L

Waeco 30L

It will be going under a full width Rib seat.

Im guessing power consumption is also a consideration.

Any thoughts, things to look out for etc?

I'm going to fit a drawer fridge under my RIB bed so can anyone recommend one?

There seems to be a big difference in price from £700+ for a Waeco to around £300. Is it worth spending the extra?

A branded fridge from the likes of Waeco/Dometic is likely to be better insulated and have a better engineered compressor, both of which will lower the power demands and the fridge is likely to be your biggest consumer (if you're not running an inverter)

Also their models tend to stay available for longer and spares are more available. If you are building around it that might be an advantage as if a cheaper brand fails you might end up having to rebuild the space to fit a different one in. For portable fridges or the near standard sized door fridge it's less of an issue but drawer fridges are a little more specialist.

Is that worth it? That's really a personal choice.

I have a top opening Waeco fridge cf35. It's economical on battery usage - I'd say better than most other fridges. The compressor is good quality too - it's a Danfoss model. I have used it in my VW ID3 as there's a 12 socket in the boot. Also I have used it in hire vans. Does the job fine. Works great as a beer fridge at Glastonbury and runs all week (I'm part of the crew there) when coupled with a 90ah custom made lithium battery and 200w solar panels.

I'm running a Alpicool under my 150 rib.
Fits perfectly in the middle compartment of the 150. Currently around 15 months old and still perfect.
