Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Spa …… the weather looks interesting for the weekend!
Is that the intentsGP site? We stayed there last year and it was significantly drier than that. Shame the race was delayed and you didn't get to see full-on racing in the wet but I bet you were glad to be in a covered grandstand!

Parked In the Motorhome parking bay at King Arthur’s car park in Tintagel for the night. £6 all day to midnight. £6 from 5pm to 10am the next day. That’s good value for such a central location. There are a limited number of toilets (50p a go) and a shower (£2.00 a go) I think. The car park is on a slight slope so chocks are advised to make a level pitch.

Now in Bruges (Camping Memling - based on some recommendations on here).

Wet drive from Netherlands - but sun out now that we got here.

There are a few transporters next to us (including uk) - so that’s nice - Hi if one of them is you (ours is the Acapulco blue one).

Forgot a photo as now that is the currency of this site - so added.

Tip for next pic.
Hide the pish bottle ;) 🤣

Went to the old dock to try paddle boarding for the first time. Proper workout pumping up two 10’8” new boards, but enjoyed every minute of the paddle. 😍

Ovano proving to be perfect for the task yet again. Just wish I could stop the rattles though. Slowly narrowing it down. Just had a replacement main hinge and got a rattle in the smaller hinge I think. Now I’ve finally worked out where I think it is, I will be out with the Mo-94 for n the morning.

Latitude for a great weekend of music...our 8th visit and wettest so far! A bit concerend this year there wouldn't be enough solar as the weather looked very very patchy but the Fogstar never dropped below 84% from Wed afternoon to monday morning and rose upto 94% during our stay.
New and improved facities too with real porcelain loos with the contents being 'sucked' out like an aircraft loo...awesome! And individual shower cubicles with hot water.

Finally made it to Murcia last night, epic drive yesterday through the Pyrenees and down through Spain.
The Pyrenees was amazing, just one amazing view after another.
So after a couple of coffees we set off

Just over a couple of weeks and then think about doing it all again...

Certainly some awesome scenery and a few challenging drives on the way through , foreign truck drivers are often mental in our experience.

Lucky enough I didn't have any truck drivers but did have someone clearly in a rush behind me so ended up pulling over and letting him go. We ended up stopping just before you enter Spain and having a walk. Just beautiful, might think about planning a stop there on the way back.

A week at Ulwell cottage campsite with one set of grandkids back in 2 weeks with the other set
