Well, that's it for me on Skye.
@Drive Wayne ,you weren't kidding about it being a magical place. Had a great 6 nights and the weather has been glorious. No midge bites although the wife got few, so all good there.
Thanks Gordon @The Flying Scotsman for help finding somewhere to stop over on the way up and back down.
Will miss this place.

Never stayed on Skye despite driving through many times to get the Uig ferry over to Lochmaddy en route to the shared family house on South Uist. Now we have the van Skye is an obvious stop now next time we go.

We’ve been in Cromer all week. We’ve not been camping in the van but we’ve been out exploring the area through the week. Today was the first time I managed to get to a place with the van and the sea both in view. This is the car park just on the top end of Cromer coming from Sherringham. It’s been a good week but it’s home time tomorrow.

I was just along the coast in Beeston Regis a few weeks back. Some fantastic early morning views across the sea from that area.

I arrived here after a couple hours drive from Bala.
It took me over 7 hours to get to Bala yesterday and after baking in the scorching sun for months up in Scotland it started raining just as we got there.
Typical I’ve been praying for the rain back home.
The fishing has been terrible as our rivers are nearly totally dry.
Once the koni’s and H&R roll bar kit are fitted and Steve has finished his magic I will take a leisurely drive back to Bala to spend another night with the T6 massive
I’m going to try out my EcoFlow 800w charger on the way back to Bala. See how it gets on charging my Delta 2.

It’s still raining in Wales.
It was quite a nice day and hot in Cannock but the closer we got to Wales the colder and more miserable it became.
Absolutely delighted with my suspension.
That along with the custom map have totally transformed the van.
Accelerates and handles like a car now.
And a half decent one at that

Very glad that you reached your destinations in good time. A rewarding experience having a very good suspension set up. Had no rain here but so far its bits here and there the ground really needs it and the rivers need it a while back! Driving along fields even very slowly one is accompanied with a following mini dust storm it is so dry. Dark cloud have threatened all afternoon so eventually they will leak. Enjoy your evening and drive back to Scotland tomorrow or are you staying until Monday.

Drove down from Roy Bridge near Fort William in the Highlands with the caravan to meet the family for a week near Castle Douglas. Taking it back up next week as i use it as a home whilst working there. Got a very frantic wave from a red T6 with bikes on the back between Glasgow and Carlisle.

Channel tunnel under the sea then a short blast along the autoroutes to the Sunparks resort in Oostduinkerke.
