Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Not today but Friday, I treated the van to a trip up to Ian Coley Sporting just outside Cheltenham to shoot in the BICTSF British Masters FITASC (if you know you know but in simple terms, it's a clay pigeon shooting competition which is also part of the selection process for the England and GB FITASC shooting teams). No picture of the van as it was just another vehicle surrounded by a lot of others in the car park (took the car yesterday for day 2). Apart from the shoot (which was excellent), I also caught up with some old friends including one guy who I last saw in Cyprus nearly 36 years ago!

Any other clay shooters here on T6F?

I used to clay shoot in Germany when I was in my teens. Had an RAF club at Gutersloh and had some great times. We all got invited to Herr Claus's (of the Combines etc) private shooting club for a friendly competition once. Rather splendid. But proved too expensive when we moved back to the UK.

Boy was it windy last night but must have had the van just in the right position that we never had to do an emergency roof down and repeg the awning
So in case anyone's thinking about getting one the kampa trip air can take a battering and survive

Not long arrived at @Absolut5 for Jason to work his magic and install the underseat amp and sub.
Too many wires for my little old brain.

Met another member from the forum who was picking up a spare lithium battery, but didn't get their name.
Drove a Porsche with a private plate ending ELK.
Was nice chatting to you, whoever you were

I read it as your vehicle can stay for 72hrs max but 'you' are not entitled to stay with it/in it overnight ....thats how I read it anyway .
I read it as 72 hours in bed which I can manage given enough beer the night before. The problem with rules is they require signs and a good friend of mine has a sign making company, he’s raking it in. If you are looking for a new business it’s signs.

IMG_4091.webpRiverside at High Bentham weather’s been rather 💩 but so far we’ve dodged most of it, dogs didn’t want to venture out yesterday so we drove out for Sunday lunch & hey ho it fined up afterwards for a nice walk by the Lune at Kirkby Lonsdale.

Bath... and it feels like there's just about the right old building to tourist ratio this early in the season.
Did see a place I liked but limited on street parking...
