What TV are you watching??

Mr Inbetween.
Just discovered this last week and currently binging on Season 2 of 3.
Best TV I’ve watched in years. The writing, acting, realism of the dialogue and natural feel of the character relationships is a joy to behold. Dark, deep, violent, thought provoking and at times, f@#king hilarious! Be gutted when it’s finished.

I watched the first three series of Barry and decided that was enough so have never given Mr In-between a look but normally Aussie off the wall dark humour like Deadloch or Bay of Fires is more like British dark humour.

A hidden gem, much under the radar. They're all good but the final series is fantastic. This should have been in Hollywood.

I don't quite get the Mr Inbetween / Barry comparison. We saw the former when it first came out 6 or 7 years ago and IMHO it's light years ahead of the latter. Although Barry had it's moments early on, I don't think we got past mid second season before binning it.
On the Aussie front, check out 'No Activity' if you fancy a laugh.

Just got onto season two of Mr Mercedes.
It's gone from being a slightly gory, psych thriller to being a bit surreal, so let's see how that pans out.

I was looking forward to watching the most recent series of Curb Your Enthusiasm but Sky have gone and taken them off again, and left only series 1.

Sorry if mentioned already but we are four episodes into Tulsa King and very much enjoying it. Also The Sandman is rather good too in a sort of gothic, moody way.

Watched the season finale of Dutton Ranch. Multiple fistfights, a gunfight, brother murdering brother, intrigue, and Rip Wheeler punching anything that moves square in the face. In fact he punches quite a few faces, almost all people who dissed his missus. I mean, c'mon, hes a big lad, dresses in black, wears sunglasses at night and speaks in a deep growling drawl - id certainly take the hint!

I like to think it's what Coronation Street would be like if it were set in Texas.
