What TV are you watching??

@Ayjay I've only watched a couple of episodes so far but invested in the main characters and the ongoing series eeriness, the ant scenes put me in mind of Twin Peaks.
Haven't read the books but will look in the library as watching Slow Horses attracted me to the Mick Herron books although I have to admit the TV show actually paints a more heroic picture of the Slough House misfits.

Adolescence

2 episodes in...
Binge watched the whole thing. As good as all the reviews say
Perfectly set for a second season I reckon.

Also been steadily re-watching every season of Dexter. Roll on better weather! ;)

The Studio. New release on Apple TV. I'm only 16 minutes in and already it's got real potential. Reminds me of "Birdman" with it's complicated long one take shots and eclectic background music!

Champions League second leg, Inter v PSG, because we have functioning WiFi again, after spending the last three nights in a WiFi wilderness. Mrs.GUMY is delighted

Well that was entertaining! Incredible match over the two legs.
Turns out the WiFi here is a bit patchy and has been dropping out frequently without me realising - now I've burnt through a lot of mobile data  Should have turned off mobile data first of course. Mrs.G is secretly laughing her socks off

Giro d’Italia currently.
Haha. Unexpectedly saw a couple of live stages of this year's Giro d'Italia - we were in Pisa during the stage 10 time trial, and stage 11 passed right by our hotel in Viareggio.

Had no idea when we booked the holiday, so it was a complete surprise - a great atmosphere on both stages.👍

This was <0.5 mile from the depart for stage 11, so they're really bunched-up and not yet racing (départ fictif?)...

Oh, and excuse the Yorkshire wazzock in the audio (that's me!)

Not watching TV but listening to Radio, our new Internet/FM/DAB Stereo Radio plumbed into our Hi-fi. At the moment listening to BBC Radio 2 Guy Garvey's Finest Hour 1.00pm-4.00pm. More usually listening to Jazz on Lynn Radio most excellent or Jazz from a number of Californian US stations. I usually search for the higher resolution stations 320Kbts/s getting on for cd sound according to some. I have been a Hi-fi enthusiast for many, many years and this only £170 radio does not let the rest of my £multi thousand per source individual component or system down. I find it amazing that I can here music broadcast from practically any country in the World and every genre of music at fairly good resolutions. Most if not all BBC radio is @ 320kbts/s. I tend to listen more now to radio than watch TV. saying that Mrs is now watch Dr Who recorded not as good as the William Hartnell days IMHO :p

I remember him from Hell Drivers, never mind Doctor Who.
Patrick McGoohan was also in that. The good old days when children and some adults hid behind the sofa when the frightening things went on. Not bad really, when many of the props in Dr Who where just household bits and pieces like fairy Liquid Bottles for the Cyber Men headpieces. the modern Dr Who is all AI and far too PC and too goody goody. It needs to be far darker.

McGoohan, Gordon Jackson, Herbert Lom, Sean Connery, Stanley Baker, a real who's who of up and coming actors. Brilliant fillum.
I enjoy that film also but I do like Danger Man brilliant actor brilliant series have the box set but watched it first time around also.

Blimey I'm only 66 so some of my earliest TV highlights were lusting after the blonde gal in White Horses and later Alexandra Bastedo in The Champions🤪
Mind you during my formative years I also wanted to be Belle, the Pyrenean mountain dog out of Belle and Sebastien and alternated between wanting to be Flipper or the young lad out of Flipper the Dolphin and Virgil out of Thunderbirds.
Fast forward and currently watching Murderbot
Sherlock and Daughter
Poker Face
rewatching all four seasons of Slow Horses while waiting for season five
