What’s going on here?

Cleaned the van today and spotted this on all 4 wheels, to more or less degrees!… Lacquer is still in place and smooth to touch though, so seems to be underneath.

Am pretty sure it’s new or I’d have noticed (not that it’s been regularly cleaned but…). Have I done something? Does anyone know what it is, is it fix-able?

I was feeling all pleased with myself as well for cleaning it. Balls.

Have you treated the tyres to any cleaning products lately?

Not in the last 6 months, and this was on the wheels before I cleaned them today.

Been googling and it’s maybe water/salt getting under the lacquer following a stone chip or at the edge, creating a milky like pattern. Seems inevitable with diamond cut apparently.
