Just been handed a Multivan as a courtesy wagon. Must say out of all the loan vans, T6.1 x 2, T7 x 2 this one is a nice drive. with all the others I was glad to get my Kombi back but this is nice

are these Ford based or genuine VW still. Like the more streamlined front end, panoramic roof and the extra bells and whistles apart from lane assist which I ain't worked out how to switch off yet lol

And the base vehicle for the new California, so why have other converters not jumped on the bandwagon yet? OK, it's smaller than the T6, but a very nice vehicle. Is it the price?

Makes sense, but still do-able surely? My nephew has just bought one of these:

Built on an imported Toyota Alphard / Vellfire by a small UK company. Haven't seen it yet, so won't pass judgement. Looks smaller than a Bongo - and the Multivan I think. And obviously a totally different ball park when it comes to price. But still....

Japanese are generally very small people (other than the sumo) which means they don't need to have big vans
