Hi, New member here. Just picked up my new to me 18plate Kombi. Jumping on this looking for a VCDS user close to Scottish Borders/Edinburgh area that could turn off my light monitoring system as fitting THQ LED lights. also to enable dipped beam to remain on when switched to Main Beam. I believe this is only possible with VCDS as I cant see it anywhere on carista.

Carista shows some possible light coding for my T6.1 which looks like the bulb checks could be disabled.

Does anyone know if this would allow LED bulbs to be fitted to standard headlights?

Hi Guys, relatively new member based in Nottingham. Have fitted THQ V3s and travellin rears looking for someone who could code out the bulb check as I'm getting the bulb error on my dash. Thank you.

@Pauly You can add me to the VCDS users map, i also have OBD11 aswell if thats a new tag your going to be adding, this has been usefull to be able to code the newer Buzz and Transhits that have SFD which vcds is a massive pain to work around at the moment - as we all know.

We often see posts from people who are looking for VCDS/VagCom users in their area to make changes to their vehicles (often in exchange for a few beers or a bottle) so we are looking for anybody who has VCDS and is open to helping out other members.

VCDS users are given the yellow VCDS user badge that appears underneath your name/avatar on posts and it also means you will show as a yellow pin on the forum user map - www.t6forum.com/membermap/ (sample picture below)

Anybody who wants to join the VCDS group please reply below or send me a message, all we ask is that you send us a full scan of your vehicle (in confidence and not to be shared) to show us that you are using a genuine VCDS setup and also to add to our repository of scans that we use to decipher coding/compare modules/part numbers etc etc

And lets not limit this to the UK, we have a growing number of members in Australia, for example, that could also benefit from this, i see there are growing clusters of members in some of the big cities (Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Perth) so if any VCDS users there would like to join in please get in touch as im sure some of your fellow T6ers would appreciate it.

I have a registered VCDS HEX V2 dongle by Ross Tech, albeit limited VIN's for now. I live close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia.
