Van doesn't "need" a service

My van is going in to have something repaired and I asked them to service it. They said it doesn't need a service for another 3 months.

Is there any harm in servicing it sooner??

Surely it's up to you. The service counter will be reset anyway, sure, it's not needed but if nows convenient for you, then who's gonna stop you? Tell them you'll take it somewhere else for a service then.

If you try to book it in for a service now, it'll probably be 3 months before they can fit you in.
