Hi, guys fitted a new garret turbo part number 873767-5003S to a T6 Highline 2.0 150bhp engine CXHA and now the rear EGR pipe is to short as anyone else had this problem? looked on garret website and says its compatible don't know if theres a replaceable longer pipe available

What year is the van? There were a few variations of the CXHA engine over the years

I haven't checked any part numbers, but the turbos are revised over time.

When I had a new turbo in 2025 on the cxeb my2018 it needed the new bracket, egr pipe and the oil feed pipe....as the turbo was different fitting.

Might need to call TPS.or go see VW to check the diagrams as you will need the revised part numbers to fit the revised turbo.

Hi, hope someone can help i have a T6 Highline tdi CXHA engine and have a loud hissing sound coming from the engine bay when accelerating i have had a new turbo fitted thinking it was that, also checked for air leaks and all ok im now lost and sick of spending loads on it.

Any ideas people?

No did smoke test and was fine seems odd as showing no fault codes

Split pipe once hot maybe. The heat will make the hose softer hence the boost whish on acceleration. Check the pipework.

Smoke test is not under any pressure unlike a turbocharged induction system.
