TSI Advice - things to look out for

This ones for the few TSI owners on here.

I'm looking at getting a 204 TSI DSG are other than fuel consumption are there any things to look out for?
I've got the 204 TDI at the mo and every month something else seems to need replacing.

been pleased with mine… you’ll get more Shell loyalty points but had no other issues. Both the 150 and 204’s remap to the same wattage.

I’ve done about 45k in mine since new and the only problem I’ve had was a leaking coolant pump (which is apparently a common problem with these petrol engines in the VAG range). Apart from that, it is super smooth and quiet and I have no regrets about choosing the petrol version.

That seems to be the consensus everywhere. Other than fuel consumption, the TSI is better in every way.
