Towing and buying car trailer

Hi everyone,
I want to tow a car on a trailer.

My driving licence was issued in 2006.

Trailer weighs: 600kg
Car weight tobe towed: 1300kg

My van vw t6 t30 gross vehicle weight: 3000kg

My trailer will weighs 1900kg with the car ontop.
From dvla website, I think I can tow the trailer because the unladen weight isn't 3000kg(gvw).

Licences issued from 1 January 1997 to 18 January 2013​

If you passed your car driving test from 1 January 1997 to 18 January 2013, you can currently drive either of the following:

• a car or van up to 3,500kg MAM towing a trailer of up to 750kg MAM (up to 4,250kg in total)
• a trailer over 750kg MAM, as long as it is no more than the unladen weight of the towing vehicle (up to 3,500kg in total)

You’ve had to pass a car and trailer driving test if you want to tow anything heavier.

The rules changed, everyone has basicaly been given the +E licence due to covid, you're totally fine with a car on a trailer.

Also the condition of the tyres; tread, sidewalls and pressures. Check all the electrics (lights) work. Check that the plated (gross weight) of the trailer is not exceeded. Make sure you can secure the load properly.

And make sure the break away cable is fitted and in good order, always use it.

Age of the tyres too, trailer tyres can last for ages but anything over 5 years with a car on top would concern me.
