Top Dash 12v cigar socket fuse locations [Updated]

The fuse for the 12V socket on top of the dash can be in so many different locations! I eventually figured it out thanks to this post and the wiring drawing downloads.
The 12V socket is item U33 on the drawing, in my case (T6 built in mid 2017) it was the SC40 fuse location - it's one of the long J Type 20A fuses. I had to follow the *3 and *4 notes on the drawing to figure out which fuse applied to my age of van. It's so hard to read the fuse numbers in the fuse panel, had to photograph them and then zoom in.

I surmised mine was there as well (2018 T6 so probably built in 2017 also). However, how on earth do you get to it to change it without removing the whole centre trim?

I used a long nose pliers to pull the 30A fuse above it and that made it easier to get to the 20A fuse below

The centre console fuse panel is an absolute mare to access, especially if it’s one of the lower fuses you need to access. Top tip is to just remove the left hand side trim by removing the glove box & surround. If you can’t be bothered to do that, get a small piece of card/ paper and fold in half. Push it to the lower section of the fuses to catch any stray fuses, thus preventing them disappearing into the ether under the floor matting. I dropped a 25a fuse and ended up with this scar for my troubles.
