THQ v3 light pattern issue

Those looms are most probably to allow dipped beam to stay on with main beam.

Personally I'd get the coding changed to enable this. It's a factory setting for vans with H7 headlights, so will ultimately be more reliable than added wiring.

Do the looms not activate dipped and main beam together to save coding ?

Is there a dark area directly in front of the van without them ?

I believe the looms are to save coding, but I never fitted mine as mine were already coded.

No dark patch on mine, mine are really bright

So my Ali express headlights have turned up today, going to get them fitted asap. Will post some pics when done!

Did anyone else receive these looms in the box? And if so did you use them? Just wondered what they’re for… my van was a factory h4 halogen.

Looks much the same as THQ supplied me with V2 lights, quickly corroded and caused many lighting issues. Just use Carista or similar to set up both beams for high beam.

Finally got round to fitting the lights… well chuffed with them!

Wasn’t so sure on the start up sequence at first but it’s growing on me . Quality wise they look spot on - can’t wait to test them at night.

They look very cool actually. Although I’m on my 3rd set of rear lights after changing my mind a few times, so I’d better not or she’ll switch.

Piece of cake. About 12 bolts on bumper and 4 bolts each light

If you take your time and watch the available videos, it's not that difficult, but does help if there are two of you to pull grill section off.
