The VW Driveway Fleet...

Mines a MK4 GTDI150. 20 years this year.
Was hoping it would hit classic status before the tossers taxed it off the road...

Just found this thread just thought I'd show my other vw

This is my vw lupo which was my first car which I still own I've done all the work to this car to turn it from s standard lupo ready for the scrap yard to show car.

Its not seen the light of day for around 5 years now just its on a storage ramp at the back of my unit think it might ne time to blow the cob webs off and get it back to its former glory

Bit of an update!

The Mk1 GTI has long gone

I had a Sonoma Green R8 that has also gone earlier this year

This Mk2 GTi arrived back in 2021

And I’ve just brought this high spec Mk5 GTI which is mid build - it’s my 6th Mk5 golf - all previous ones were owned about 17/18 years ago

All being well there will be a deposit on a VW Caddy mk4 in Viper Green this weekend! Will be perfect for lugging the dogs around or chucking a couple of bikes in. Plan to insulate and carpet line the rear but not much else.

Crafter gets collected next weekend 🫣

Fitted a Racingline catch can and washer relocation kit to the R today.
I saw a YouTube video of someone emptying one the other day and couldn’t believe the amount of sh1t that was in there. Don’t want all that going into the engine so this is the solution.
Probably won’t get the approval of the Forum environmental police but hey ho.

I look at it this way. If all that shit builds up, at some point down the line the engine will get stripped, cleaned and the resultant waste tipped down the drain. Your method collects the shit before it gets to your engine internals, then tipped down your neighbours drain in smaller quantities.
