The swamper low look

I run 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeaks on my T6, fitted to 17 x 8.5 et 34 wheels.
The coilovers are set to 70 mm (the lowest of their advertised range) but it actually sits at 90mm with an arch gap of 370mm.

No rubbing at all.
Certainly gives me mucho confidence thanks šŸ‘

Any pics?

Are we rockin a bit of starlight there my brother. Now I have been avoiding going for a black wheel thinking they would disappear. But yours is looking good šŸ‘
Thanks - yep, a slightly mucky Starlight though! I did toy with the idea of anthracite (previous wheels were anthracite), but given the sidebars etc are black it looks less fussy

Thats a really good point as im changing the sidebars from chrome to black šŸ¤”

Can anyone show me what 235/65/17on Devonports look like with a 80mm drop? Does it fit?
Somebody has gone the Devonport route, not sure of the drop though. But having read a number of posts my feeling is you should be ok, depending on the tyre used obviously. I think the cross climates have a narrower profile than a typical swamper tyre.

Photos of my T32 are on the previous page. Running 30mm drop Sportline springs but centre of wheel to arch is 420mm which suggests that it’s running more like 40mm from standard?

Anyway, I will measure from tyre to arch when I get a moment in daylight. My guess is that the tyre will be into the arch a bit.

I won’t be able to comment on drivability though.

Mine measured 460 standard and 380 now so I’d agree that yours is 40mm down šŸ‘

I’m looking at the same set up, what’s the ride like from standard to this?
I’ve had the van just over 5 years. Put Koni shocks with H&R springs from CRS on within a week of having it. I ran 20ā€ for a while - loved the look but it just wasn’t practical (for me). This combo is perfect - great ride and looks good

I’ve always ran 20s too but fancy a change for something more practical and better geared up for the bad weather
